We are happy to announce that Metro and your union have negotiated and extended the contract till Nov 30th

We are still looking for active stewards in helping making your workplace even better.

Since the election to have a Union at your workplace you have seen two raises ( great news). There has also been questions to what will happen to your wages and working conditions if a new employer takes over the contract. Remember without a Union contract to protect you. Changes could take place. We are still looking for Union Stewards and more participation to keep the Union going. Please do not let this great achievement go to waste.

Congratulations!! You guys did it!!!

Ballots were counted at CWA Local 9400 7844 Rosecrans Ave.Paramount, Ca. 90723 on Tuesday , May 25th 2010.

At 1:15 PM the ballot boxes from Riverside and Paramount were unsealed and the ballots tallied. Your contract was ratified at 96% YES vote. Congratulations you now have a contract at Metro.

We will be printing out copies of your contract ASAP! We will also mail out to you an invitation to become a member of YOUR union!

All ballots are in Public counting Tuesday at 1 pm

Congratulations on Tuesday May 25th at 1 pm there will be a public count of the ballots at CWA Local 9400 7844 Rosecrans Ave. Paramount, Ca. 90723.

Everyone is encouraged to participate, You will also have a chance to meet fellow co-workers that you would otherwise be unable to meet.
